Embroidery For Kids

Interestingly, embroidery is a great art form for kids too as it strengthens hand-eye coordination, promotes creativity, improves concentration, and teaches them essential life skills like patience and hard work.

Ages 6+ recommended.

Winter months especially can be long, and finding fun things to do indoors to engage with creativity can be a challenge. We have found kids really enjoy doing crafts like embroidery, especially when they make something they can use or wear.

We suggest purchasing a kids kit, something simple like the examples below for learning. After they get the hang of it, give them the option to decorate dish towels, their own t shirts or tank tops, and maybe even an old shopping bag or tote you have in the house. They can also make pieces for their siblings or friends as gifts!

And don't forget to have fun! 🌼
